About the event

Antalya Türkan Şoray Culture Center is hosting an entertaining musical production that carries the traces of the nineties to its stage. Written by and starring Ecem Erkek, the one-person show focuses on the childhood and youth of a young girl growing up in a traditional family structure. Directed by Meltem Bozoflu, the production invites audiences on a laughter-filled journey of nostalgia.

Starting when the main character, left alone by her boyfriend on New Year’s Eve, finds a mixed cassette from her childhood, the events take viewers through intimate moments ranging from street carpet washing days to folk dances at weddings. Featuring dramaturgy by Erdem Avşar, set design by Burak Etöz, and lighting design by Yakup Çartık, this single-act comedy contains touching and cheerful details about the mother-daughter relationship.
