The Lycian Way is a hiking route stretching 629.4 kilometers from Fethiye to Antalya in southwestern Turkey. Crossing the districts of Demre, Elmali, Finike, Kas, Kemer, Konyaalti, and Kumluca, the route was created by marking and mapping a network of paths across the Teke Peninsula, where ancient Lycia was once established. Designed by amateur historian Kate Clow and marked with red-and-white stripes, this trail is recognized as one of the finest long-distance walking routes in the world.
Along the trail, travelers encounter notable stops such as the ancient settlements of Aperlae and Apollonia, alongside various historical ruins. Traversing the historic tracks of the Teke Peninsula, this long-distance path reveals the rich geographical and cultural heritage of the Mediterranean coast.
