About the event

Located within the borders of Lara Birlik Public Beach, Sandland is a massive open-air art space welcoming thousands of local and international visitors every year. Built exclusively using river sand and water by international sculptors, the artworks are regarded among the world’s most prestigious organizations. Exhibited across an area of approximately 7000 square meters, these colossal structures offer guests two distinct atmospheres, both in natural daylight and under special LED lighting set up in the evenings.

This season, the museum focuses on the Space Adventure and Time Travel concept. Alongside scientists like Leonardo Da Vinci and Galileo, human milestones in space exploration and popular sci-fi productions are brought to life through sand figures. The exhibition area also features free astronomy observation zones where visitors can examine celestial bodies using powerful telescopes.

After the exhibition tour, visitors can relax in themed cafeterias and find souvenirs. Appealing to art and science enthusiasts of all ages, this open-air museum stands out as a unique route waiting to be discovered in the Muratpaşa district.
